Bangladesh sits on the delta of two major rivers and floods occur regularly, but that is nothing compared to the floods of people who inhabit the country. Bangladesh is one of the most densely populated countries in the world. The country’s massive population is confined to an area about the size of Iowa. Its capital city of Dhaka is home to 12 million people and is expected to be the world’s third largest city by 2015.

In the past few years, tens of thousands of Bangladeshis have come to Christ in an incredible church-planting movement. Christian representatives in the country are finding many Bangladeshis open to hearing about Isa (Jesus), especially when presented with the Gospel using the Quran as a bridge.
