Journeyman Blogs -- Making connection with those in South Asia

Journeyman Blogs

Journeymen (and women) agree to two years of service following college to help spread the Gospel to the peoples of South Asia.
The Journeyman program is available for single college graduates who are willing to commit to two years of service overseas. Journeymen will participate in an orientation prior to departure for the field and will have the opportunity to attend a debriefing session upon completion of assignment.

A Journeyman fill a variety of assignments from around the world. Applicants must be single (never married), between 21 and 26 years of age, and an active member of a Southern Baptist Church.

Below you can find "Journal entries" from many of those young adults.

The volunteer team arrived last night. They all seem like sweet girls. It’s cool having them here. We are leaving for the village soon. Father, please keep us safe as we travel, be our protector, keep the men from staring, help no one to get sick, and may Your[...]

Coming to the field

ShareJournal from the Edge: By Cailyn Ozier*
April 12
Yesterday Mom, Dad, my little brother and I drove down to Waco, Texas, to meet Dad’s family for a goodbye dinner. Before we parted ways, they wanted to circle around me and pray. One little cousin clung to me the whole time. My little cousins are going to[...]
