South Asia People Groups
Simply put... "A people group is the largest group through which the gospel can flow without encountering significant barriers of understanding and acceptance." South Asia has over 1700 people groups. Sadly, over 1400 of these are considered unreached with the gospel. In addition, over 500 of these people groups have no access to the gospel. These are called "Unengaged Unreached People Groups" or UUPGs.
South Asia contains more unengaged unreached people groups (UUPGs) than all other regions of the world combined. In fact, three-fourths of all the world’s UUPGs are in South Asia.
Is there a need for your prayers and your church’s involvement?
