For Believers:
> Pray that the Sri Lankan church would be a shining example of God’s Kingdom on this island nation, glorifying God with their love and compassion for the lost.
For the Lost:
> Some of the poorest and least educated Sri Lankans live on beautiful tea plantations scattered through the up-country of Sri Lanka, formerly known as Ceylon. With each cup (or glass) of tea you drink, please pray that those working on Sri Lanka’s tea plantations would receive salvation and see God's glory.
> In spite of the opportunities to minister in the name of Jesus Christ with tsunami victims, and seeing the Kingdom of God growing in Sri Lanka, most Sri Lankans are still ensnared by spiritual strongholds solidified by history and culture. Many of their religious beliefs are steeped in falsehood and misunderstanding. Pray those strongholds and barriers will be brought down, preparing the way for Truth to enter their hearts.
> Sri Lankans believe strongly in "karma" - that whatever befalls you, good or bad, is just your lot in life and there is not a lot you can do to change it. Pray that the Gospel will permeate their lives, and that grace will replace the belief of karma. Pray that through the Truth, peace will replace fear.
