Expressive ways to reach the Lostness of South Asia
The focus of the Express
track is using orality and the arts to share God’s Word with people in a way they can access, understand, respond to, and reproduce.
About 80 percent of South Asians are oral-preference learners.
That means that 1.2 billion South Asians need to receive the Gospel through stories, songs, dance, or drama to best understand and respond to it.
As an Express Edger,
you will help national believers bring the message of salvation to life for this overlooked majority.
You will be a part of an intentional church-planting strategy founded on sharing God’s Word in a culturally relevant way.
Goals of Express teams include researching to discover the best way to communicate the Gospel to a people group; developing oral Scripture products;
and using these oral Scripture products to plant reproducing churches in an unreached people group.
Learn More about the Express Team:

Over the past three months Jason and Andy have been seeing some amazing things happen in a small village area.
Two story groups have formed and the people just can’t get enough of the Bible stories.
Jason has been sharing a story about what the first church gatherings were like.
A church leader recently came to this community and offered to construct a church building.
The village elders flatly refused the offer stating, “We do not need a building to worship and pray.
It is not natural for us. We want to gather like the people in our stories.”
